We need an Accountant to manage, review and report on our accounting workflow.

You will be working on elements of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. You will also assist with general accounting, inter-company activities, and financial operations. You will ensure procedures and controls maintained to produce reliable, accurate, and timely financial results. Working knowledge of large companies is an advantage.

Excellent communication skills are necessary for this role. You will need native level Japanese and intermediate English language skills.

Required Skills

• Bilingual (Japanese native & intermediate level English)
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in similar position
• Knowledge and work experience of Japanese GAAP and IFRS
• Knowledge of accounting terminology and definitions
• Experience and knowledge of SAP or ERP system is preferred
• Book-keeping knowledge and month-end experience preferred
• Able to work accurately and in a timely manner
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and balance workload to meet deadlines
