Our client are a luxury hotel in Tokyo, recruiting an Assistant Director of Rooms.
This is an opportunity to take on a senior leadership role at a major, large property in central Tokyo.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the Rooms Division.
- Manage the Front Office and Guest Relations teams.
- Manage staff performance, guest experience, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel standards, service protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain safety and security measures.
- Coordinate effectively in emergency situations, maintaining communication with local emergency services and ensuring guest and staff safety.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in front office or guest service roles/
- Experience in a managerial role.
- Experience in a global environment (preferred).
- English communication ability (TOEIC 650+ or equivalent).
- Japanese communication ability (N3+, Fluent preferred).
