Our client are a global hotel group, searching for an Assistant Director of Guest Experience.

This is a rare opportunity to work primarily in English! Only conversational-level Japanese is required. Higher levels of Japanese ability will be more advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the front office and guest experience teams.
• Promptly address guest inquiries and concerns; enhance guest satisfaction.
• Streamline operational processes.
• Cultivate enduring relationships with VIP guests.
• Direct and evaluate staff training.
• Work collaboratively with other department heads to ensure cohesive guest services and adherence to brand standards.
• Engage in marketing and sales initiatives to foster business growth and increase revenue.

Qualifications

• Managerial experience in hotel front office.
• Luxury hotel experience.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.
• Skilled in the use of relevant software systems.
• Conversational Japanese; higher levels advantageous.
