Description
The position will be responsible for executing audit strategies for branch reviews of Global Wealth Management and Corporate Banking across EMEA. The candidate must also develop and maintain relationships with key business partners. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute audit activities, including risk assessment, audit programs and test procedures
- Prepare reports for management covering audit activities, results and recommendations
- Develop a deep understanding of the business, including knowledge of major processes, customers, activities, products, strategies, and related regulatory requirements
- Identify best practices for controls and work with the business to enhance the control environment
- Act as auditor-in-charge with responsibility to coordinate work assignments among team members
- Develop testing routines that can be performed through automated computer techniques
Required Skill- Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience (banking/financial services, public accounting for a “Big 4” firm)
- Global Markets (front office, operations, finance/product control) experience preferred
- Market risk, credit risk, and operational risk exposure preferred
- Experience in treasury management preferred
- Good knowledge of relevant Japanese laws and regulations
- Strong project management skills
- Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

- College/University degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Advanced/Post graduate degree preferred
